"LIFE"

INTO THE POEM:
This poem is all about LIFE. It depicts how we come across this life and spend much time which passes by in short silence
Unlikely its not my(Rukshan's) literary piece but its one of the best and the most awaited poem by my friend SARAL DAS. Thats all.Take a read ...

Eyes streaming with tears,
Heart screaming with fears,
Empty is all the brain,
To accompany the first pain,
It’s the pain of being born,
And that’s how life’s turned ON!!

With the outset of the timid age,
Bestowed upon by a real face ,
To persevere life, a decent usage,
We embark upon with no luggage.

As the duteous time passes,
We enter our nursery classes,
Flourishing and flourishing by, & the experience coming by,doing what we could,
We gather the rules of bad & those of good.

Life indeed would be dull,
If there were no difficulties,
We got to know to make the perfect use,
Of our special abilities.

Pieces of sorrow & gifts of joy,
Begin right from the time,
When we got our first toy.
In life, thus, there always exists a fair chance,
Which is indeed to be captured at a perfect glance.

There are many  a lessons to learn from a tree,
To achieve success, we got to know the meaning of the word “victory”!

In life, we should make the proper choice,
When required we should raise our humble voice,
Either  to catch it when it withers, or to leave it, like a bird,
Limping without its feathers.

Nothing is old, Nothing is new,
Its Just a matter of point of view,
Enjoy life as days are few,
Cause if life is an ocean,
Then happy moments are like dew.

So its upon us being a tortoise or a hare,
What is this life, If full of care,
Do we have time to just stand & stare??

RIZA

INTO THE POEM:
As the poem's name suggest, it is my dedication to the star I love, named RIZA.
The poem speaks of  of my wishes i.e. to see her as a woman and do all sorts of romantic love making things. like that of kissing, hugging etc etc.
This is the simplest of my poems with absolute no use of difficult words.
I would also like to mention that the one's who love someone truly would reflect their partner as they imagine my sense of poetry.
Do have a read.

Days and nights and nights did fall and fly,
I wonder why I beg your sketch from the blind sky?
He holds you tight down the swinging moon,
And favors me a touch when I wriggle off my room.
Standing below the shadow of the cloud of mistrust,
I utter no word, no sign of baffling pain from my dark crust,
When my feelings for you walk past on broken glasses,
And held me cry their wounds for their screaming rashes.

I loved a girl in my dwindling past, but she broke my heart,
And now I love you RIZA with all that heart left apart,
I am a human and do own a human heart,
Which in turn calls itself a victim of your art.
I wish you could be a minx(girl) ornamented for me,
And I could propose my core resting on my knee,
Can the Divine power fickle you the woman of my dreams?
And prescind my qualm feelings from their groaning screams.

Oh RIZA, oh RIZA tune your ears to my little prayer,
And clad your life with a female attire,
For I could feel your lips wetting mine,
And uncage my core from the clutches of this rhyme,
I wish to drown myself in the trench of your eyes,
And sleep on your folds till the morning holds the skies,
And hide you in my arms and hug you tight,
And play your silky hair, browning the light.

I desire to walk  walk holding your hands,
And push your shoulders with my fist upon the green lands,
And rest our souls down a shady tree,
And count the butterflies flippering us carefree,
And stone a wave upon the silent blue water,
And reflect our glittering smile, when they crawl and flatter,
And to pull your nose and squeeze your cheeks,
And just taste your tongue with ll the flicks.

Can I be the lash winds and enact a fly for you?
And reach your lizardous bodice with ASTARTE's crew.
Can I be your star and you be my sky?
As I could dwell somewhere in you, without a false try.
Can I be your temple and you be my GOD?
As I could worship and embrace your faith amongst the odd.
Can I be yours and you be mine?
As I promise to love till this earth freezes to time.

FOR A LOVING FREIND

INTO THE POEM:
This poem is again written by one best friend SARAL DAS,
He has dedicated this poem to me on my birthday.
Have a read.

With unbriddled thoughts in my mind here I trace,
to perpetuate my ascetic feelings of this race,
some few lines to see his smiling face,

Having a smooth bite of my pizza,
My thoughts dodged beyond the pyramid of GIZA,
To steal a sight of his amiable RIZA,

With his shining RIZA I saw this wholesome lad,
Scratching poems eligently as was his fad,
A never say die attitude was his clad.
And to be his friend, I am so clad.

As a guy he behaved totally eccentric,
To escape punishment he owed many tricks,
And as a poet I consider him freak,
Cause his poetic words tasted me Greek.

And whenever he was lonesome,
He scribbled some poems which were totally awesome,
Tough I could barely understand his poetic words,
But that poem called wind when I heard,
I became his crazy buff as I am writing this authentic bluff,

I can never forget the time we spent,
When up above the skies we went,
But he regarded me as a tough fight,
Though I'm not good enough to make his pants tight.

He helped me a lot in my study,
I wander what would I do without this buddy,

I know my poem is not that good,
But this is all and all I could ,
I scribbled this poem for his birthday,
I hope he remembers me somewhere someday.....

THOSE COLLEGES DAYS

INTO THE POEM:
This isn't one of my poem. The poem was composed by one of my closest colleagues named SARAL DAS.
The poem speaks about the our College life. Its a lucid poem with the sense of deep inner college life at our STEWART SCIENCE COLLEGE.

To gain some useful knowledge,
We made our way to the college,
We were trying our best to tackle,
Just like young ones learning how to cackle.
We came to know tat life is full of struggles,
And if we don't work hard,
We will be mere empty bubbles.

We were taught to live our dreams,
To chase it till the fast extremes.
We made new friends, We made new trends,
We hope this friendship never ends.
We left the rest, we gave our best,
Preparing ourselves to taste the test.

And those teachers whom we knew,
They were quite popular among quite few,
They helped us rectify our mistakes,
No matter how long it takes,
And when we used to bunk our classes,
Playing football and breaking glasses.

And when we used to get caught,
We utilized the plans that our Seniors taught,
We formed new friends,
And made a gang,
And the just went on bang - bang.
We sang, We danced, We clapped,
And on few occasions we were slapped.
And of all those days and those fun,
Will those days ever come?
We want some more time, some more fun,
Though we know that time and tide waits for none.

THE SCAR OF MY LIFE

INTO THE POEM:
The poem speaks about my immortal love for a star whom I call "RIZA".
The poem beautifully describes the unparallel feelings of  love to her.
RIZA

Beneath the heavens lie thou my star.
I sight thou nigher but thy art too far,
Thou sparkle the faint black night like a reddish star,
Thou are my heart my and a vivacious avatar,

I scribed any sword on a scraggy wood,
To paint my love for you,
My love for you is a love too new,
But my love is a love by few.

I quest for  you on each cool and quiet affair,
By lodging any soul on a rocking chair,
And rem my twine paired eyes here and there,
Until I spot you with petite despair.

Deep in my core I perceive an opaque pain,
When the clouds eclipse you with their silvem train,
And when they scorn as euphoric rain,
All my exults deject as if a tumultuous drain.

I envy ARORA for her twilight glore,
And for her secluding me from your adore,
Tell me "RIZA" and make me sure,
Should I wait or just end my futile score.

Down on earth where betrayers thrive,
Me and my mortal heart lone survive,
And when on earth your kisses arrive,
I pray to HIM that our immortal love dealt alive.

MY WHISPERS WITH THE WIND

INTO THE POEM: The poem is just like a brush with nature.
I am addressing my feelings to the wind.
Every line of the poem speaks of a inexperienced imagination.
In this poem, the cloud is personified with his walk, As a fighter, As a sensation blowing my hair, As  mother giving birth, As a killer, As a singer, As a a one-sided lover of the cloud and last as a painter.
The poems is a perfect blend with personification and imagination.
Just have a read and fest your soul with a handsome poem.

Beyond the green lump of forests,
And beyond the mystic glow,
I feel your refreshing fragrance,
As you kiss me by your swift flow.

Thou walk unravelling the glory of sand dunes,
And turn the soil rich in flavor,
When budding flowers and the leaves,
Dance to your viscous tune.

Not only in darkness but in light,
I watch you fight with a dumb kite,
And also at times a i watch you dance with a flag,
When you crawl upon me with parabolic long flight.

Thou wave my hair with a virgin touch,
As if a jumping mane on a horse's neck,
I feel your lips when upon me you move,
And compel me comb my mane with my natural clutch.

Thou evolved the trees without a birth,
As you scrolled your leg upon our earth,
And pollenized the flowers with ample try,
And whispered the blooming birds the sense of fly.

Thou even play the games of death,
As you sneeze within your breath,
And grudge humans with a pool of tears,
And toxicate their lives with a dungeon of fears.

Still i enjoy the way you sing and whistle,
When you screech the leaves as you hustle,
And pull the screens blocking your way,
And squeeze the branches against their nay.

Within your heart, thou endure the pain of a disbalanced love,
And follow the steps of your beloved cloud,
And dry & wipe off her tears,
When the thunder as her man, slaps her loud.

Thou beautifully paint upon the barren lands,
When you push the leaves down their stands,
Thou brush the pests upon the twigs,
And harvest the dead woods with the fluffy wigs.

I wish I could be one, just like you,
And fuse the things unheard and new,
And touch my "RIZA" as to her i fly,
And release my heart from hers patent cry.

ON A MISPRISING FREIND

We sought, We fought, We dismantled the stones,
We cried, We laughed, We teased each other over the phone,
We were a group, We were well known,
Our friendship was eternal & was a kind of its own.

We traveled the land in search of worthy fun,
We kicked our legs & won battle without a gun,
We had no crest, we were the best,
We were the group unlike the rest.

There was a guy bold and shy,
Blessed with talent high up till the sky,
He was my friend, I loved his trend,
He hawked, We rocked, untill a day he left my way.

He misprised my words, My weird words,
For a friend close to our world,
And told me things that peirced my heart & my mind,
I was crumbled, I was sublime as I knew the fault was mine.

I skipped the road & resumed my heart with a heavy load,
And scribed this song to scratch the feelings untold,
I had no tears but I had a pain,
For I love and love my misinterpreting friend.

I like, I love , I treasure him much,
I tune his noises which clamp my bosom with the sweetest touch,
There's nothing eclipsed within our share,
We fight, We quarell but we do care.

We were, We are , We will be on a fuss,
I assure him that there will be none like us.
Oh we ain't gonna stumble with just a knock,
Within few days we'll be back to rock.

EYES' SYMPHONY

INTO THE POEM:
The poem speaks about my temptations for the eyes of an unknown girl whom I spotted while having my physics class in my college.Frankly speaking Her eyes where with a twist, full with heavenly love and had the bluishness which reflected her beauty. The poem is all about the sequence of events that took place that rainy day.Have a look.

Born without the sun, Grew tedious the new day,
Wet with water, I leaped on my way,
Whelmed by the sinkering studies at night,
I drooled my college's lectures with my own false fight.

With intense compulsion I choreographed my optic clans,
Upon the swiftly waving lecturer's hinderlans,
And upon the mob outside my window pane,
To watch them quitch with their noisy train.

Looking at my watch to struck the interval,
I trudged my clans to quest a sweet face of a girl,
My search didn't turn out to be futile,
And i noticed a face embedded with beauty worthwhile.

I saw her tweet with fun and gay,
And my clans paused for her white astray,
I loved her eyes which had the gentleness of an unshaken dew,
Drenched in her mysterious firth my core chose to froze.

Her eyes seemed like my sparkling RIZA,
And burneth my hibernating clans with a volcanic afluenza,
And triggered a tornado within my lone heart,
And killed my sorrows with her effusive dart.

Her eyes unwrapped my clans from the hazy cloud,
And composed a symphony with the six strings of my heart,
I devoted myself to the sublime tranquility of her eyes,
And widened my feathers to pull them close with petite tries.

It jazzed my soul with a tinkering pod,
And burnished my clans with the cloth of a rhod.
I lust to feel her grid on my arms,
But the temptation for romance closed off its farms.

For i was once stabbed in the name of love,
And from then beauties for me seem alike a flying dove,
my heart wanted to install my clans imagination,
And accept her as my gods' paired creation.

shattered by the pain of my first love's crunch,
i erased her percussion like a chocolate crunch,
still my eyes relished her beauty without a tedious strain,
And tucked itself on the heavens' crane.
